Required subjects. Where the course (major) has a named class an AP or SAT Subject Test is required. Dual/Concurrent Enrolment and classes from an associate degree can be considered on a case by case basis. Where the named class is ‘any science’ a high score on the Science component of the ACT can be considered on a case by case basis.

Where a course has a named subject/cognate discipline requirement then an AP, SAT Subject Test or Dual Enrolment class in that subject is needed. A high ‘science’ score on ACT may be acceptable when a unnamed ‘science’ class is required. Contact Emily should this occur.

Option 2 (only suitable where the course has no named subject):

High School Diploma/GED with GPA 2.8

Option 3

Associate diploma/Associate degree/Junior degree holders (general or specialised with 2.3/4 GPA.

Honors level classes, AP classes completed without taking the AP College Board exam or CLEP exams may be accepted on a case by case basis in place of: Alberta, British Colombia, Newfoundland and Labrador, North West Territories, Nunavut, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Saskatchewan, Yukon Territory

High School Diploma/Certificate of Achievement/Certificate of graduation/Dogwood Diploma with 65% average across 5 grade 12 subjects.

Manitoba

High School Diploma with 65% average across 5 credits (some classes may be worth 1 credit or 0.5 credits) at Level 40 or higher.

There are four different English classes, all are acceptable, all called English Language Arts (ELA) (40S)
New Brunswick

High School Diploma with 73% across 5 grade 12 subjects
(Grading can vary between the Francophone and Anglophone System, contact Emily Page should you get a New Brunswick application.)

Ontario

High School Diploma/Graduation Certificate with 65% average across 6 grade 12 subjects at least four of which should be University Preparation Courses (denoted by 4U). The other two courses could be University/College Preparation Courses (denoted by 4U/4M/4C).

Quebec

Students in government high schools in Quebec only do 11 years of High school then go on to do a Pre-university course.

Collège d'enseignement général et professionnel (CÉGEP) takes 2 years to complete OR Diploma of College Studies (DCS)/ Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC) takes 3 years to complete.

One year of pre-university with an average of 75%.

Two years of pre-university with an average of 75% in year 2 (year 1 does not need calculated).

Excellence

SAT 1290 ‘Evidence Based Reading and Writing’ and ‘Math’
OR
ACT Composite Score 27
OR
Associate degree at 3.7/4.
