You’ve applied to us, great choice! You're now one step closer to starting your university journey.
Keep checking your emails for important information about your application, offer and next steps, and track your application on UCAS Track (if you applied via UCAS). If you have any questions about your application simply contact UCAS or our admissions team +44 (0)1772 892444.

What happens next?
Now that you’ve submitted your application it will be considered by our Admissions team. The time this takes varies by course, but we aim to let you know as soon as possible. Make sure you keep checking your emails and UCAS Track for updates. We may need to know a little more about you before making a decision. If this is the case, you’ll be contacted by email or via UCAS Track. This might include being invited to an interview or audition.
If you are invited to an interview or audition (mainly for health, art, design and performing arts courses), you will be emailed with more details about how to book your place. You can read more about interviews and auditions on our dedicated page.
If you have been made an offer to study at the University of Central Lancashire – congratulations! There are two main types of offer:
Conditional Offer: An offer to study here that is based on you meeting certain conditions. These conditions are usually academic, and we will normally specify the grades you need in order to confirm your place.
Unconditional Offer: This offer means that you’ve already met the conditions required to study here, so the place is yours if you want it!
You can find full details about the conditions of your offer on UCAS Track (if you applied via UCAS). Please make sure you read and understand these.
Once you have received decisions from all your chosen universities, you will need to select your firm and insurance choices.
Firm choice: This is your first choice/institute. It may be a conditional or unconditional offer.
Insurance choice: This is your second choice, and is your backup to your Firm choice, in case you don’t meet the entry requirements of your Firm choice.
Deadline dates vary depending on when you applied/received your decisions. Please check your UCAS Track for your decision deadline date.
You probably have a lot of questions about how you can prepare for university. We are here to support you every step of the way and want to make sure you have all the resources you need.

Clubs and societies

You could also get involved in inspiring volunteering projects and work towards gaining a Livesey Award.
At the heart of student life is the Students’ Union. Not only do they organise social activities throughout the year, they also provide a support service for any student who may need it. So, if you need help with academic issues, finance and welfare, housing or employment the Students' Union is a great resource.
