Fees and funding for postgraduate degrees
If you’re thinking of studying a master’s degree, you could be eligible for a loan from the Government to help you study. You may also be eligible for a discount on the full fee, depending on where you’ve studied at undergraduate level.
Enhance your career prospects
Whether you're a current or prospective student, our postgraduate degrees (also known as master’s degrees) allow you to study your subject topic in more detail, gain in-depth knowledge within your area of expertise, and advance your career.
You can study for a postgraduate degree after completing your first, or undergraduate, degree. Postgraduate degrees typically are shorter than undergraduate degrees and last between one and two years. We also offer a range of postgraduate research degrees which allow you to undertake supervised research at doctoral and master’s level.
What is a conversion course?
A conversion course is a programme of study that trains graduates in a new subject to prepare them for a specific profession. These courses offer a chance for people to redirect their careers, or transition from an academic to a vocational subject. A grounding is first provided in the undergraduate essentials of the subject, prior to studying the masters level modules. We offer a number of postgraduate conversion programmes which enable you to apply your existing knowledge and expertise to a new area or discipline. So whether you're looking to pursue a new area of study, or a professional looking to upskill by gaining wider expertise for a career change, conversion courses can boost your personal development.
