Professional Development & Short Courses
Our Continued Professional Development (CPD), short courses and event are an excellent way to support your career and professional development, enhance your knowledge and skills or simply to enjoy exploring a subject or area that interests you.
We offer an exciting range of courses available across a range of specialist areas, all in small bite sized chunks of education. Some courses are accredited – i.e. they allow you to work towards a University qualification; others are standalone programmes focused on specific learning outcomes or development of a skillset.
Our courses can range from multi-day to year-long courses, operating either from our campus locations in Preston and Burnley, or as online training courses.
CPD courses for businesses
Our short courses can allow your workforce to grow its skills without undergoing recruitment. Our short courses can be completed either on campus or as distance learning, and can develop your next managers or senior leaders.
If you are an employer and can’t find a course to suit your business needs, we are also able to create bespoke courses or programmes for organisations.
