The module aims to support recently qualified practitioners to progress onto the AMHP training programme or to broaden their understanding of mental health practice. The module will enable students to critically reflect on and consolidate their existing knowledge and skills in mental health practice. Students will be able to explore complex challenges of mental health legislation, policy and practice.

Entry requirements
The module aims to support qualified practitioners who aim to consolidate and build on their knowledge and skills, including those who wish to progress onto the AMHP training programme.
The module is also aimed at any mental health practitioner wishing to explore basic understandings of mental health and to broaden their knowledge of key critical concepts and services.
All candidates need to ensure that they have a relevant undergraduate degree at 2:2 or above, or evidence of ability to study at postgraduate level.
