INFORMATION FOR AD-HOC WORKERS

There are a range of paid ad-hoc working opportunities at UCLan, for example you could work as a Student Ambassador, Guest Lecturer or Invigilator.

These opportunities are short term, one-off or infrequent activities and are advertised / arranged by Academic and Professional Services as and when required. 

If you are interested in ad-hoc work, you need to complete the following steps:

1.

Visit dashboard to register your details.  If you need guidance on how to register then look at our registration guidance document here.

2.

Visit our Human Resources Team at The Ironworks - Greenbank Street, to complete a right to work check.

Where this is not possible please contact HResources@uclan.ac.uk  T: 01772 892324, for details of alternative right to work checking points across the University.

The documents that are considered acceptable by the Home Office for demonstrating right to work in the UK are set out in two lists – List A and List B.

In addition to the documents outlined in List A and B any person on a Tier 4 visa must also provide evidence of their term dates and complete an International Student Declaration form.

3.

You will receive a notification when your account has been verified and you will then be able to express an interest in ad-hoc working opportunities.
