Our School of Veterinary Medicine delivers foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Our courses cover veterinary medicine, bioveterinary science, veterinary physiotherapy and rehabilitation, and veterinary clinical practice.

    Our new vet school is the first of its kind in Lancashire and one of only two in the north of England.

    We focus on producing industry-ready graduates with practical, ethical, and clinical reasoning skills. Practical placements at local, regional and national veterinary surgeries and hospitals.
  • First in the world

    Our university will become one of the first in the world to take advantage of a virtual dissection platform. It uses renowned veterinary Anatomage technology to help teach animal anatomy.
  • Research opportunities

    You will have many opportunities to cross collaborate with staff and students from veterinary and human health subjects in the Faculty of Clinical and Biomedical Sciences..
