If you haven’t managed to secure a place at University yet, then any applications that you make between July and September will be classed as Clearing. We realise Clearing can be quite stressful but don’t worry; our team is on hand to advise and guide you through the process and ensure you find a place on an undergraduate degree course that is right for you.
Get the lowdown on the University of Central Lancashire and find out why you should choose us. We’ve invested in facilities that allow you to excel – from industry-standard theatre spaces and production studios equipped with state-of-the-art kit, moot courtrooms and high-tech science labs, to ‘phantom-head’ dentistry suites and clinical training bays.
If your results aren’t what you hoped for or if you perhaps chose the wrong A Level subjects, instead of repeating a year at school or college, why not look at our Foundation Entry courses? By applying to one of these four-year degrees, you gain access to the full student loan funding – plus you get the university experience right from the outset.
If you're in need of some advice or not sure of which route to take, give us a call on 01772 830777 or register your interest and we'll be in touch.
We still have places available in courses starting this September. To view our wide range of courses offered at UCLan, please use our course search and then give our friendly team a call on our Clearing Hotline number 01772 830777 for more advice or to secure your place. When you call us, you will need your UCAS Clearing Number which you will find in UCAS Track.
As soon as you get your results, call us on 01772 830777 and have your UCAS number ready. Or A level students, from Thursday 16th August you can Tweet us, @UCLan
If we make an offer over the phone, we will email you – please follow the instructions and remember our team are busy making their way through offers as quickly as they can.
Log on to UCAS Track to accept your place by clicking the 'Add Clearing choice' button and entering the course details and institution code (C30). If you have registered for Adjustment, reply to our email confirming your acceptance. We can then make the necessary change on UCAS for you.

With the recent changes in exams and entry requirements, you may be wondering what your results mean when it comes to UCAS tariff points. Our handy calculator means that you can add in your qualifications and results or predicted grades, to give you an idea what your UCAS tariff score is.
Here at UCLan all our courses state the required entry requirements in the new UCAS Tariff. During the Clearing period from 30 June until mid-September, please give us a call on 01772 830777 to find out if you will be accepted on to your chosen course.
