Sport and wellbeing

Here at the University of Central Lancashire we are passionate about sport and wellbeing. Whether you're looking to start a sports-related degree programme. Or simply looking for a uni with great facilities, activities and clubs to join. We have something for everyone to get involved in.

We have a range of excellent sports facilities including our Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre, and a short distance from our Preston Campus, our Sports Arena. Meanwhile, if you're based at our Burnley Campus, you can also make use of local facilities that we have partnered with so you can keep fit wherever you happen to be studying.

University sport

The University works closely with the Students' Union and there are more than 35 different sports clubs you can take part in, all run by the Students' Union. If your sport of choice isn't currently represented, then you can even take the lead and start your own club. The Students' Union can help support you every step of the way. Just want to try something out? Give It A Go activities and the SUL (Students’ Union League) run throughout the year, giving students the chance to ‘turn up and play’ without long-term commitment.
