The MSc Accounting (ACCA) Fast-track is designed for professionals qualified accountants working in the business, accountancy and finance sectors who are looking to gain a Post Graduate qualification. The Research Methods module will support student learning by providing an understanding of a range of research tools and analytical techniques, as well as enhancing critical and investigative skills which can be applied in your professional practice.
They will also be required to submit a dissertation for which they will carry out a substantial piece of research on an accountancy or financial management issue. This will enable them to demonstrate their critical understanding of the subject and their ability to carry out sustained independent study.
Applicants must be qualified Chartered accountants (ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, CIPFA) or international equivalent.
For students where English is not their first language or where their degree has not been studied in the English language, a score of at least 6.5 on IELTS (or equivalent) is required.

Applicants who are UK qualified Chartered accountants (ACCA, ICAEW, CIMA, CIPFA) or international equivalent, are eligible to apply for Accreditation of Prior Learning for up 100 credits of taught modules towards the MSc Accounting (ACCA) programme.
This allows a qualified accountant to achieve the MSc programme by successfully completing a Research Methods module and the Dissertation.
