Huddersfield New College is an award-winning outstanding College and is in the top 10% of all colleges nationally for student progress. We have a strong and rich sports based provision, supporting the academic success of leading athletes alongside their commitment to their training schedule.
Huddersfield New College is an outstanding College, offering a range of Sports based courses to students at A Level and BTEC. Our HE provision is an extension of this outstanding provision.
Our large Campus, with ample free parking, is located just ten minutes from Huddersfield town centre. We are exceptionally proud of the facilities our students can access including a state of the art Sports Lab, Sports Barn, Fitness Suite, 3G pitches, cricket lanes and onsite gyms.
Huddersfield New College has a strong and successful history of supporting students with a sporting talent. Our Talented Athletes Programme allows students who play competitively at a national, regional or international level to combine success in their sport with success in their studies.
Although the Campus is located near to a town centre, we have breathtaking scenery and green spaces, and a range of onsite facilities including a dedicated LRC, onsite Starbucks and an onsite Costa Café. All students enjoy an exceptional enrichment programme including the chance to gain additional qualifications such as a First Aid and the Level 3 Coaching award. Students can also join unique experiences such as the annual College musical production.
