1. Application review
Now that you’ve submitted your application it will be considered by our Admissions team. The time this takes varies by course, but we aim to let you know as soon as possible. Make sure you keep checking your emails for updates. We may need to know a little more about you before making a decision. If this is the case, you’ll be contacted by email. This might include being invited to an interview or audition.
2. Interviews and auditions
If you are invited to an interview or audition (mainly for health, art, design and performing arts courses), you will be emailed with more details about how to book your place. You can read more about interviews and auditions on our dedicated page.
3. The offer stage
If you have been made an offer to study at the University of Central Lancashire – congratulations! There are two main types of offer:
Conditional Offer: An offer to study here that is based on you meeting certain conditions. These conditions are usually academic, and we will normally specify the grades you need in order to confirm your place.
Unconditional Offer: This offer means that you’ve already met the conditions required to study here. There will be a financial conditions detailed in your offer letter and payment of a deposit is required to secure your place on the course.
4. Decision time
Once you have been made an offer you will be sent updates to your email address and invited to events to find out more about UCLan and ask any questions you may have. Deadlines for meeting your academic and financial conditions will be communicated to you.
