Our Open Days are an ideal opportunity to visit one of our friendly campuses and find out what we have to offer. There's nothing quite like a visit to campus to bring to life all that you've read about in our prospectus and on our website. So whether you are just starting your journey, are looking to enhance your career or considering postgraduate study, explore our Preston Campus, talk to academics and students and get a real feel for studying in Preston, or visit our Burnley campus in the heart of Pennine Lancashire.
In the interests of the health and wellbeing of its student, staff and stakeholder community the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) has taken the decision to cancel to the Open Evening planned for Thursday 19 March to help reduce the potential spread of the coronavirus (Covid-19). This includes the associated Physician Associate Practice Open Evening.

Come prepared and with an idea of what you want to get out of an Open Day.
- Do your research, shortlist your courses of interest
- Make a list of questions or notes of anything of which you are unsure about
- Decide which subject and general talks you want to go to
- Register and keep checking your emails! We will be sending out tips and useful information as the day gets closer.
Before the day, download your programme and work out which talks work best for you.

There are a variety of different ways you can access the University of Central Lancashire, whether by rail, road or air. Preston is well served by the M6 motorway both North and South and excellent cross country rail links, and Burnley is accessed by the M65 (Junction 10) and excellent rail links. There are also two major international airports in Manchester and Liverpool.
