The University of Central Lancashire welcomes students from Malaysia and has been in partnership with SEGi University since 2018, where a large number of our students have enrolled onto a range of top-up degree programmes.

Entry Requirements

Please note the requirements below are indicative only

STPM is equivalent to A-levels on a grade for grade basis.

Grade A = 48 UCAS points

B = 40

C = 32

OR

Malaysian Ministry of Education Matriculation Programme in Science, Technical, Accountancy pass.

OR

Senior Middle and Vocational Unified Examination (UEC) 4 subjects with an average of grade C7 or above (not including Chinese or Malay).

Where a specific subject is required at A-level the equivalent subject should be counted in the 4 academic subjects).

OR

Successful completion of a one-year or two-year post SPM full-time Certificate or Diploma including Malaysian Polytechnic Certificate course at pass.

Our entry requirements will vary depending on the individual course and the year of entry and the below are indicative only. Any reference to typical entry qualification or grades stated on the website are provided as a guide only. There is no guarantee that applicants who have, or are predicted to achieve, grades equivalent to or exceeding typical entry qualifications or grade will be made an offer by the University of Central Lancashire.

Minimum English Language Requirements

0

SPM 1119 grade C or above.

OR

Standard English language entry requirements - IELTS 6.0 or equivalent.

If your academic and/or English language qualifications are not sufficient to allow for direct entry to one of our undergraduate or postgraduate taught programmes, you may wish to consider one of our Undergraduate or Master Foundation Programmes, offered at the University of Central Lancashire by ONCampus. Successful completion of this programme can guarantee entry to a wide range of programmes with us.
