Airport transfer service
The University offers an Airport Transfer Service for all new overseas UCLan students, arriving into Manchester Airport, regardless of which country they have travelled from.
This year the Airport Transfer Service will run from Wednesday 22 September to Saturday 25 September. To be eligible for the service, you must book a flight which arrives into Manchester Airport between 6am and 6pm on one of these days.
If you are arriving in the UK on any other day please also complete the form to tell us the date you are arriving. Whilst we cannot guarantee to offer you an Airport transfer, if we can see that there are large numbers arriving in an earlier date, for example in order to quarantine, then we may be able to offer some additional support with transfer to campus.
In order to book a place, please complete the online booking form with your details and flight information.
Our Airport Transfer Service is free of charge but only available to students. If any family members have travelled to the UK with you, they will need to make their own way to Preston by public transport. Please note, due to the Covid-19 pandemic you MUST wear face coverings on all public transport in the UK.
For more handy hints and tips when planning your journey to Preston please see our Arrival into the UK webpage. We also have information on how to catch a train to Preston from Manchester Airport.
If you have any queries then please contact Student Support by phone on +44 (0)1772 89 5000 or email the team.
Whilst the Covid-19 pandemic is ongoing, the Airport Transfer Service is dependent on the restrictions imposed by the UK government. As such we may be unable to confirm your booking, and any details of the transfer until closer to your arrival date.
