If you are an EU student applying for an undergraduate course for the 2017/2018 academic year, you will continue to be eligible for student loans and grants. This was announced by the UK Government (October 2016) following the UK’s decision to leave the EU. It means the current funding rules remain unchanged, and guarantees that you won’t have to pay up-front tuition fees and you will receive government-backed loans to cover your tuition fees for the entirety of your course.
