Our research and knowledge exchange supports the development and delivery of strategic goals in technological innovation and sustainability. Our research also supports regional growth through work of civic and societal benefit.

Activities range from reducing the carbon footprint of local businesses to developing aids for de-mining operations

Public engagement

In 2023 we supported the first UK “ExoGames” with the American Standards for Testing of Materials for students from across the world
