The key aims of the Probation Health Trainer implementation evaluation project were to explore the delivery and impact of the Probation-based Offender Health Trainer Implementation Project in Bury, Rochdale and Oldham, thereby generating learning to inform practice and research.
A mixed-methods approach was taken, the main methods being:
Interrogation and analysis of OHT data routinely collected using DCRS (led by UCLan)
Use of the ‘Portsmouth Ready Reckoner’ Health Trainer Assessment Tool (led by UCLan)
Construction of a small number of qualitative case studies (led by GMPT).
