What you’ll do

  • Studying in one of the most intense engineering and manufacturing areas in the UK, you’ll benefit from our new £35 million Engineering Innovation Centre (EIC).
  • The course includes lots of opportunities for you to develop personal, interpersonal and project-personnel skills and ensure the modules you study are relevant to your work and interests.
  • You’ll develop a critical awareness of contemporary issues in project management informed by leading edge technology, research and practice and the capacity to apply emerging principles and project management skills to standard and unpredictable workplace scenarios.

Academic expertise

The following team members will be central to your learning experience:

Dr Clifford Okeh - Course Leader
BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD, DIC, PGCE, FHEA, MCIOB, MCABE, MIET, MSET, C. Build E. PRINCE2(F).

Clifford has over 20 years’ experience working in industry and higher education. He has worked with leading construction companies such as Balfour Beatty Major Civil Engineering Limited UK. He is research active in Fibre Reinforced Concrete Structures (Experimentation and Numerical Modelling). He also has a wide range of teaching expertise in civil engineering and construction technology, construction management and structural engineering.
