Full job description

The role includes the following responsibilities:

  • Assist in Cost Estimation: Support in estimating the costs of construction projects. This includes analysing project specifications, conducting site visits, and calculating material, labour, and other costs accurately
  • Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets. Learn to track project expenses, monitor cost variations, and identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Gain understanding of budgetary control processes and reporting.
  • Tender Documentation: Support the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, and tender pricing schedules. Assist in sending out tender invitations, managing tender responses, and evaluating contractor submissions.
  • Assist in reviewing contract documents, processing payments, and managing variations to contracts. Gain understanding of contractual obligations and dispute resolution processes.
  • Risk Assessment: Assist in identifying and assessing risks associated with construction projects. Learn to analyse risk factors and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks to project success.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
  • Any other duties as outline by manager.
