The way in which you apply for UCLan accommodation is dependent on your UCLan course application and the year you are joining. It is important that you use the correct process to ensure your application progresses as smoothly as possible.
All applicants for University owned and leased accommodation should apply using our easy to use online service.

Once you have accepted an offer letter from the University and paid your tuition fee deposit, you can apply for accommodation using only one of the following methods:
You will be able to apply for accommodation once you have accepted a place on a course at UCLAN, paid your tuition fee deposit, and met any academic conditions. If you have a sponsor who will be responsible for paying your accommodation fees you will need to ensure that written confirmation is provided to UCLan Accommodation Service from your sponsor before accepting any offer made.
All International students please note : Under Tier 4 visa regulations there is a maximum amount of your accommodation payments that can be reflected on your CAS.
If you choose to pay the total accommodation charge you must ensure that you are still able to meet UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) maintenance requirements by demonstrating that you have enough funds after paying all Accommodation fees to support yourself.

If you have booked accommodation and subsequently are not granted a visa we will refund Accommodation fees paid on a pro-rata basis. You should contact us immediately if you are made aware of a visa refusal and provide documentary evidence of your visa refusal.
We understand that if you are returning to study or undertaking a postgraduate course you may not want to live in halls.
If you wish to live in one of our leased halls with other postgraduate students we will try to arrange this for you. Please apply here selecting your preferences as appropriate.
If for any reason you would prefer off campus private registered accommodation, please complete the University Private Accommodation form and email or post it back to us.
If you are commuting to UCLan it may be possible for you to move into halls after the start of the September term. Please contact us for advice on any vacancies.
If you are looking for accommodation for the next academic year, you can use UCLan Studentpad. To access the site you need to contact firstname.lastname@example.org with your student registration number and we will give you the password.

There is also a wide choice of private registered accommodation available that is close to the campus. If this type of accommodation would suit you best, please complete the University Private Accommodation form and email or post it back to us.
Alternatively, you can email us firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone 01772 892529. We will then email you an application form and other necessary information, or will post it to you 1st class, if preferred.
Certain accommodation which the University allocates to students may be owned and/or managed by external providers: IQ Letting Ltd, Sharples Ltd and/or Imperial Property Company (Liverpool) Ltd respectively. In order to ensure the effective management of such accommodation for the benefit of students, their names, University accommodation addresses, University and personal email addresses and personal telephone numbers may be shared with IQ Letting Ltd, Sharples Ltd and/or Imperial Property Company (Liverpool) Ltd as appropriate in respect of any student resident in such accommodation.
The date of birth of any such student who is under the age of 18 years at the commencement of the accommodation contract will also be provided to IQ Letting Ltd, Sharples Ltd and/or Imperial Property Company (Liverpool) Ltd in order to ensure that they observe all their legal obligations to such students; any personal information provided to any of IQ Letting Ltd, Sharples Ltd and/or Imperial Property Company (Liverpool) Ltd will be held by it/them in secure conditions and used only to the extent necessary to enable it/them efficiently to administer those aspects of the University’s Student Accommodation Service which it/they provide. Personal information obtained by the University from students in connection with their studies at the University will be held by the University in accordance with the University’s relevant regulations.
