Sarah Vickers

Sarah is part of the Nurse Educator team so she teaches a lot of the clinical skills within the School of Nursing and Midwifery.

When Sarah qualified as a nurse she worked for nearly 3 years on the children's unit at Royal Blackburn Hospital. During this time she completed additional shifts at many different hospitals across the North West to get a feel for paediatric nursing in the region. She then moved to the children's ward at Royal Lancaster Infirmary for a year where she then transitioned to be a Paediatric Clinical Lead in the Emergency Department. She then moved back to Royal Blackburn Hospital as a Junior Sister in the Paediatric Emergency Department before joining UCLan in January 2020 as a Nurse Educator.
