His role is to ensure there are Primary Care placementa for Medical Students which of a sufficient quantity and quality in the area, as well as engaging in strategic decision making for the development of the Westlakes campus
Rick has been a Trainer for intending GPs since 1995, engaging in teaching on a 1:1 level in practice, as well as running and developing the GP Training Programme in West Cumbria. He has been involved in training Medical Students in practice intermittently since 1999, initially linked to Newcastle Medical School but more recently with UCLan.
