Full Profile

Ricci joined the university in 2005 as Project Officer for British Sign Language: Quality Embedding of the Disciplinary funded by FDTL to develop and design BSL Curriculum framework for the Higher Education level for three years. Prior to coming to UCLan as staff,  Ricci graduated BA (Hons) Deaf Studies at UCLan.  After three years project completed Ricci had moved on to The Manchester College as Tutor for deaf students and SEN students to teach English, Maths, BSL and life skills to enable them to be ready to progress in mainstream and employment for 10 years.  Ricci has blossomed with knowledge in FE and HE and returned UCLan in 2018 as BSL & Deaf Studies Lecturer
