Leah is a lecturer in Medical Sciences and Anatomy in the School of Dentistry. She is module lead for the Oral Development and Anatomy module, for the Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Dental Hygiene, and Dental Therapy BSc. She is also involved in teaching Anatomy on the Clinical Dental Technology BSc, Orthodontic Therapy programme and Oral Surgery MSc.
Leah graduated with a first-class degree in Anatomy and Human Biology at the University of Liverpool in 2014. She then went on and studied for her PhD at the University of Liverpool on quantitative image analysis in the rare disease Alkaptonuria (AKU) which she completed in March 2018. She continues to collaborate with her colleagues in Liverpool working on quantifying disease progression and response to therapy for clinical trials in AKU. She is also working towards her HEA fellowship.
