Janette is responsible for the strategic management of quality and the student experience in the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing. She inputs into module delivery in the School where her expertise lies in assessment and treatment of individuals who have problems affecting the musculo skeletal system. She is a Chartered and HPC Registered Physiotherapist. She has extensive experience and expertise in curriculum design. Her research interests focus on the evaluation of teaching and learning innovation.

Janette is a highly experienced academic with a track record in collaborative project management and extensive experience of curriculum development / quality assurance activity across a range of professional routes within health and social care fields. She has a broad range of learning, teaching and assessment experience in higher education with specific subject expertise is in interprofessional learning and Physiotherapy. She is an experienced external examiner at undergraduate and post graduate levels. She has a track record in quality assurance work in HE both internally and externally and was a QAA reviewer for Major Review of Healthcare Education programmes. Janette is active within allied health professions networks both locally and nationally. She is passionate about ensuring graduates in the 21st century are capable of offering a significant contribution to improving the health and well being of both national and international populations.
