3 Year leaving certificate from Senior High School with 80%.

Chinese National University GaoKao University Entrance Test with Tier 2 entry.

Successful completion of one year Higher Education is acceptable in lieu of Grade 3 (Year 12)  High School at 80%

International Foundation Programme with 65% - Group B.

Scholarships

Below are the criteria for the award of the Excellence scholarship, further information of which can be found on your country page.

Excellence

• 85% or equivalent for those with 3 year leaving certificate from High School; 85% for those students who have completed one year of higher education in lieu of Grade 3.

Please note the requirements below are indicative only

4-year Bachelors degree with grades of 70% or above from any recognised Chinese institution/65% for elite universities (previous known as 211,985 or double rated University) or above for programme requires 2:2.

For those courses requiring 2:1 entry, grade required is 75% for elite universities (previously known as 211,985 or double rated University) or above, 80% for all other universities.

Only in exceptional circumstances will 3 year university/college diploma holders with grades of 70% or above in key subjects PLUS a minimum  3 years relevant work experience be admitted for direct entry. Most students will be referred to a top up or pre-masters option.

Students who have completed a 3 year diploma and then a Pre-Masters programme will be considered for PGT study on a case by case basis.

Students who have studied concurrently for a 3 year diploma and a pre-masters programme will not be considered for PGT study

  Average grade of 85% in Pre-Masters programme (delivered in China).
