This laboratory has equipment to allow the lab to be set as a simulated theatre for the teaching and acquisition of practice skills in the care of the critically ill.
The area has two beds, operating table, ventilator and transfer trolley. Specialist equipment in this laboratory includes cardiac arrest trolley and electrocardiograph monitoring. Simulated oxygen and suction are also available here. The laboratory can be used for all other clinical skills and also has a ceiling mounted camera allowing the filming and recording of examinations and simulation sessions.
