We have two purpose built dance studios with a sprung floor surface and audio playback equipment.
Each dance studio measures approximately 160 square metres in area and with a ceiling height of around 6m.
Dance Studio 1 is fitted with a ‘Fixed Rig’ lighting grid making the space useful for dance performances/assessments.
Dance Studio 2 is fitted with full length mirrors along the entire length of one of the studio walls making it ideal for individual or group choreographic development work.

Availability
Due to the specialist floor surface the Dance Studios are only available for BA (Hons) Dance students to book outside teaching times for individual or group study purposes via the student room booking system.
Please note that these studios are used for scheduled teaching activities.
Use of the studios by others is by special arrangement which is usually attained by the provision of a demonstrable rationale for the use of the resources contained within this facility that directly supports their course of study. This may require a referral from an academic tutor. Subsequently, if approved, you may be required to attend a facility induction run by technical staff.
