These facilities give students experience of skills relevant to the mechanical and aerospace industry.
This area is for ‘wet layup’ of composite materials, including; Fibreglass, Carbon Fibre, and Aramid Fibres. It includes a cutting table for cutting of material to size, laminating tables for part production, and flammables lockers for storage of hazardous materials.

Where possible and with prior arrangement, staff will work flexibly during the working day to accommodate specific support requirements which do not fit into the specified timetable.
