Course overview

There are three mandatory units in this qualification:

  • Unit 1: Understanding the skills, principles and practice of effective management coaching and mentoring: This unit will help you understand the role and contribution of coaching and mentoring. You'll learn to build a business case.
  • Unit 2: Reviewing your own ability as a management coach or mentor: This will give you the ability to critically review your own personal qualities, skills and competence.
  • Unit 3: Plan, deliver and review: You'll need to demonstrate your ability to plan, deliver and review at least 18 hours of coaching and mentoring in your workplace.
