Dr Zimin Wu
Zimin's expertise is in Database Systems. He has taught various database modules for many years. Alongside this, he has supervised undergraduate and postgraduate projects.
Zimin is the course leader for our BSc (Hons) Computing courses. He has been a senior lecturer since 1994, previously at De Montfort University. He has been a module leader for a range of database modules such as Database Systems, Advanced Database Systems, Information Modelling, Relational Database Theory, Database Application Programming, Data Warehousing and Data Mining.
Zimin has successfully supervised PhD projects. He also worked as an external examiner for PhD and undergraduate courses and a referee for journals and conferences. Prior to this, he was a Research Fellow at De Montfort University working on its digital library projects funded by the British Library, IBM and the Commission of the European Communities.
