Rob’s design work has been widely featured within the design press and recognised by some of industry’s most prestigious awards – Creative Review Annual, Design Week Awards and the International Society of Typographic Designers. Rob was also awarded Entrepreneur of the Year at the Salford Business Awards.
Rob is currently an associate lecturer on our MA Graphic design course. He is also co-founder and Creative Director of Raw Design Studio.
After entering the industry as a Graphic Designer in 2004, Rob set up Raw in 2006, then in 2013 he took sole ownership of the studio. He now runs the studio alongside his business partner and wife, Ruth. During this time as a designer Rob has overseen and shaped the creative direction of over a thousand projects, working with some of the biggest brands in the country, including the BBC, Channel 4, the Premier League, the NHS and Liverpool FC.

Alongside his teaching he is a keen speaker and regularly visits universities around the country to share his experience and expertise with the latest up and coming talent.
