Kelechi also enjoys supervising undergraduate, master’s and doctorate students as it has allowed her to gain a deeper level of understanding on research, whilst helping the students to nurture and bring their research ideas to limelight.
Kelechi's current role as a lecturer in construction project management involves creating teaching materials, preparing for tutorials/seminars, teaching and marking students’ work; engaging in formal supervisory meetings with the students; providing advice and guidance to help students keep their studies on track; providing comments on the students’ written draft; providing feedback on the students’ work and progress; reviewing the students’ thesis before submission for examination.
Kelechi is active and a member of the Institute for Engineering, Technology and Innovation (InETI) as well as an active member of the Global Race Centre for Equality (GRACE). Her key areas of research interest include agile construction management, modern methods of construction, AgiLean construction, as well as research on gender inequality in the construction sector. Her PhD and research studies encompass these areas of research. She welcomes collaborations in any of these subjects.
