Dr Ibukunolu David Babarinde
Ibukunolu David Babarinde is a Senior Lecturer in International Business. He has previously worked in human resource management in reputable organisations in Africa and Europe before becoming an academic. David’s PhD work focussed on HRM/employment relations within cultural contexts. He is interested in researching the intersections of work and society.
David is currently one of the programme leaders for the Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) cohorts. David teaches modules in various programmes in our School of Business including HRM and research methods. He currently supervises doctoral students in the areas of HRM, employment relations and organisational behaviour.
Between 2008 and 2015, David worked in the Nigerian Agro-allied industry supporting businesses in the areas of skill acquisition and talent resourcing. He also worked in the HR operations of one of the UK’s foremost financial institutions.
From 2015 till date, David has worked in the UK Higher Education sector in various teaching and research roles.
