Fiona Bullivant

Fiona teaches across the Nursing team but specialises in children and young people and learning disabilities particularly in the field of children and young people with learning disabilities and autistic individuals and specifically with young autistic people with eating disorders.

Fiona has published in the area of autism in girls and young women and autism and eating disorders. With a specialist dietician, both books were written collaboratively with young people who have been through services and talk from an expert with experience perspective.

Fiona has always worked in children and young people's nursing. As a learning disability nurse, she has worked in the NHS/Charities and across the independent sector. As an LD nurse for 37 years, her expertise includes: behavioural analysis, communication, and sleep. Fiona is also a Non Medical Prescriber.
