Dr Anna Ridding
Anna is a part-time lecturer in the School of Psychology, bringing with her over 10 years of experience of working within healthcare settings to the MSc and BSc in Applied Clinical Psychology.
Anna teaches on several modules within the MSc Applied Clinical Psychology and BSc Clinical Psychology courses, alongside mentoring students and supervising research projects for MSc Applied Clinical Psychology.
Since completing her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, Anna has worked within physical health settings across many local hospital trusts. She continues to work locally within the NHS and also carries out specialist intendent work alongside her lecturing role.
Anna's specialises in working with people with physical health challenges and is interested in how these impact a person's wellbeing and day to day functioning.
