How does the exchange programme work?

We have exchange agreements with almost 100 universities from around the world. In Europe we are part of the Erasmus+ scheme and we have partners in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Hong Kong through the Worldwide Exchange programme.

For areas outside of Erasmus+ and the Worldwide Exchange programme, we are also involved with the International Student Exchange Programme (ISEP), which covers the rest of the world.

Exceptions

We try to accommodate and welcome all international exchange students. However, we do have a number subjects that are exempt from our study abroad degree programmes. The following subjects currently are not part of our international students study abroad programme:

  • Medicine
  • Dentistry
  • Midwifery
  • British Sign Language (BSL)
  • Health Professionals
  • Optometry
  • Veterinary
