High Throughput Computing Cluster
High Throughput Computing (HTC) cluster with 576 cores and access to petabyte scale storage system
The HTC cluster enables large scale parallel computing to be carried out locally on a greater scale that would be otherwise be possible. Such computations typically involve simulations or numerical or statistical analyses that are amenable to and benefit from parallelisation.
Please note, this facility is only available for researchers from the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute.
- 12x Dell nodes each with 48 cores and 256Gb RAM
Available at all times (excluding periods of maintenance). A fair use queuing policy is in place.
The High Throughput Computing Cluster can be found in 009 of the Maudland BuildingGeneral enquiry
