PLAB 2/Medical Licensing Assessment Preparation

The NHS and UK Government have initiated a national drive to recruit International Medical Graduates (IMGs) to fill gaps in the current UK medical workforce.

This CPD event in PLAB 2/MLA Preparation is the first of its kind to be run by a British university, taught by academics with a wealth of clinical experience. Delivered over just 5 days, this intensive course will enable you to gain the necessary knowledge and skills required to successfully complete the external GMC PLAB 2/MLA.

There will be a particular focus on the Clinical and Professional Skills Assessment (CPSA), as well as a focus on the aspects of the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to undertake the Applied Knowledge Test (AKT).

Unlike other PLAB 2/MLA Preparation courses, we also offer the option to include Intermediate Life Support (ILS) training, approved by Resuscitation Council UK. ILS training is essential for working as a doctor in the NHS. By including this in your training, you will meet this crucial requirement and enhance your competence in emergency situations, making you a more attractive candidate for NHS roles. Please note, this is an optional addition (available at an additional cost) and is not required for completion of the programme.
