Course overview

On successful completion, you will be able to:

  • Critically evaluate the role of coaching and mentoring in medical education
  • Identify learners needs and select appropriate coaching and/or mentoring strategies
  • Contextualise coaching and mentoring within your own practice
  • Critically reflect on and analyse your own coaching and mentoring skills

Entry requirements

  • Hold at least 2:2 degree in a medical, dental or other healthcare discipline or equivalent
  • Be actively engaged in medical or dental or healthcare practice
  • Have an IELTS score of at least 6.5 or equivalent
