Zain has always been ambitious. For him, coming to UCLan was all about seeing the world.
The University of Central Lancashire was just the final destination of Zain's journey into international tourism management.
He gained a huge amount of experience during his time with us - working on regeneration plans for a local council, presenting group projects to Visit Britain, and getting work experience with the Cruise Academy.
Exploring international tourism means exploring more of the world. And that's what Zain did, studying at our overseas campus in Cyprus.
While he was there he got an international perspective on tourism management and even made lots of international friends who came from various countries - from Italy to Egypt.
"Studying in Cyprus enabled me to combine my studies with lots of travel and gave me the perfect opportunity to experience a different culture."
It's great to learn about the impact of tourism abroad, it's even better to experience it. In his third year, Zain took part in our course trip to Dubai to see first-hand how tourism has impacted the country.
Zain made the most of his time here, and it didn't go unnoticed. One of our partners, leading luxury tour operator Destinology, was so impressed with Zain they offered him a graduate role.
Global opportunities. Global careers. Study with us and you'll be ready to take on the world.
