Anna teaches across the MSc (Pre-reg) Speech and Language Therapy course. She provides visiting tutor support to students whilst on clinical placements as well as providing year tutoring for pastoral and academic support. In addition to this, Anna is joint admissions tutor; arranging the admissions events for prospective students.
Anna qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2008. Since then, she has worked for NHS trusts across the UK as a Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist. She has worked in a variety of settings including community clinics, mainstream schools, special schools and additionally resourced provisions. Anna has extensive experience of supporting children and young people with a range of speech, language and communication disorders including learning disabilities and Autistic Spectrum Disorder. Before starting as a lecturer here, she was Clinical Lead Speech and Language Therapist specialising in working with deaf children and adolescents.
