UCLan to celebrate business innovation through Red Rose Award

University sponsors Innovation in Business category of Lancashire business community awards

The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) is celebrating community business innovation by sponsoring an award at the Red Rose Awards 2021, the eleventh annual celebration of the Lancashire business community.

The Red Rose Awards provide the best possible platforms to promote success with the aim of encouraging trade within the county. The awards are about the businesses that keep the county alive – the heroes of the Lancashire economy.

The awards are an opportunity for businesses to showcase their story to the wider community by entering.

UCLan is sponsoring the Innovation in Business category, which celebrates the creative ways businesses can demonstrate innovation by how they work with their people, or in product and service development. This category is particularly poignant this year, with many companies having to adapt and re-think the ways they do business following the pandemic.

"We are committed to supporting the development and growth of local SMEs and innovative businesses, and feel it is important to recognise and promote their successes"
