More than 1,600 students will graduate from UCLan at Preston’s Guild Hall
More than 1,600 students will don their caps and gowns next week to graduate from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).
The undergraduates, postgraduates and doctorate students will take to the stage of Preston’s Guild Hall to celebrate their academic achievements.
They will collect their awards in front of family and friends during four award ceremonies between Monday, 10 December, and Wednesday, 12 December.
The University will also recognise the career of Professor Eileen Fairhurst MBE. The Chairman of the East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust has spent more than 40 years working in the NHS and her research has been published in more than 70 peer reviewed papers and abstracts. She will receive an Honorary Doctorate to acknowledge the significant contribution she has made to the development of the University’s School of Medicine and her academic achievements in the field of health and wellbeing.
