Physiotherapy Clinic

Our Wellbeing Physiotherapy Clinic is staffed by Senior Chartered and HCPC registered Physiotherapists with many years of experience who are dedicated to providing a positive experience of healthcare to our students and visitors.

As a student on our Sports Therapy, Physiotherapy or some medicine related courses, you will benefit from gaining practical clinical hours in our on-campus Physiotherapy Clinic. As part of your studies, you’ll be required to complete a number of clinical hours before you graduate. The Clinic provides a safe environment to work with real patients and hone assessment, treatment and rehabilitation skills.

Clinical Practice is supervised at all times by qualified physiotherapists who are registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) to ensure patient safety and care standards are adhered to.

You will be able to build up your own caseload of patients, enabling them to gain experience in managing a clinical diary, whilst also facilitating exposure to a wide variety of problems that patients may present in clinic with. This will allow you to help improve your confidence and clinical reasoning skills, whilst providing a platform for you to build on post-graduation.

Our physiotherapists specialise in the treatment of back and neck pain, sports injuries, joint problems, neurological and respiratory conditions and are capable of providing tailored rehabilitation plans aimed at returning you to your previous levels of function where possible.
