Our pre-hospital care skills laboratory contains the simulated ambulance which is built to scale, equipped as an operational vehicle and is used to reflect a realistic working environment.
Due to the restricted working space in an ambulance there is a camera allowing students and staff to view the activity within the ambulance during a simulated skills session. These images are displayed on the large screen within the skills laboratory. The area has four patient transfer trolleys accommodating four medium fidelity manikins.
