Crime Scene Houses, Flats and Garages

We've invested in extensive crime scene investigation facilities so you can gain practical experience. The simulated scenes progress from a straightforward crime to more complicated major incident scenarios.

In 2021, we created 15 new crime scene flats, allowing you to work in smaller groups that reflect real-world working conditions. The flats are accessible and fitted with CCTV, so our academic team can give you feedback on your decision-making skills and recovery plans.

We also have further crime scene houses and a large forensic vehicle examination garage with 4 vehicles. These additional facilities give you more experience in forensic evidence recovery and more specialised expertise in areas such as blood spatter analysis.
