Christmas Hamper Competition 2020
The Competition to win a £200 Christmas Hamper is open to everyone.
The competition starts at 5:30pm on Wednesday 16 December 2020 and closes at 10:00am GMT on Friday 8 January 2021. Any entries received after this time and date will not be accepted.
To enter the competition entrants must tag the person they believe should win the £200 hamper explaining the reason why in the comments located on the pinned Facebook post shared by The University of Central Lancashire: https://www.facebook.com/OfficialUCLan/
The Promoter does not accept liability for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault of any kind.
The competition winner will be chosen at 12:00pm on Friday 8 January 2021 and announced by The University of Central Lancashire on Facebook. The winner will also be notified by comment tag and direct message on Facebook.
The winner can claim their prize by responding to the direct message from the Promoter and must provide an address for the hamper to be delivered to. The winner will have 28 days from the Notification Date to claim their prize.
If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 28 days from the notification date, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
The hamper will be delivered within 14 days of confirmation. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any damage to the prize during delivery or if it should fail to arrive.
The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize or any part there of with items of equal or greater value in the event of unavailability due to circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry.
The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry. The Promoter may disqualify an entrant if the entrant acts with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other entrant, Promoter, or Promoter's agents or representatives.
Anyone deemed to be cheating or otherwise manipulating the free prize draw to give themselves an unfair advantage will also be disqualified. Any entrants deemed to be in breach of any of these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of the free prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
As is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Winners may be required to participate in publicity related to the prize draw which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only as required for fulfilment, delivery or arrangement of the prize.
The Promoter accepts no liability for any tax liability that may become due as a result of winning a prize. This will remain the sole responsibility of the winners.
The Promoter reserves the right to amend the terms of this free prize draw or hold void, cancel, suspend or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
The competition will be governed by English law and entrants to the competition submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
