Andrei's main research interests are in corporate social responsibility, corporate governance, comparative business studies, labour markets and finance. He has published in leading international journals, including Journal of International Business and Journal of Comparative Economics. His research has been supported by grants from the British Academy, the European Academy of Management and the EU. He serves on the editorial board of Journal of East-West Business. He is a member of the Academy of International Business and the Academy of Management.
Andrei was educated at the State Academy of Finance (Moscow) and the European University Institute (Florence). Before coming to UCLan he worked at the State Academy of Finance (Moscow), the University of Leuven and Manchester Metropolitan University. He was visiting scholar at the University of Toronto and the University of Murcia. He teaches post-graduate courses and supervises PhD and master dissertations. He is the lead of REF Unit of Assessment 17 (Business and Management Studies) at UCLan, member of the LSBE Research, Innovation & Ethics Committee and the School of Business Research Executive Group.
